2022

The Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI) awarded 386.675,17 € (research-valorisation programme, file INNVA1/2022/36) to project INUSAL: modelling, designing, building and validating an industrial prototype for ultrasound intensification of flow processes in the agrifood and pharmaceutical industries. The prototype — developed by the Photochemistry and Electrochemistry of Semiconductors group led by Prof. Roberto Gómez Torregrosa and protected by two patents — demonstrated continuous processing of liquid dispersions and high-viscosity food products, and was validated with real liquid foods at the AINIA technology centre in 2024.

2015

Prototyping and testing novel chemical reactor technologies via numerical simulations in order to solve main bottlenecks in the pharmaceutical industry (i.e. clogging, scale-up) — Jensen Research Group (MIT).

2012

Mathematical modelling and computer multiphysics simulation of microreactors within MAPSYN (European Project). MAPSYN brought innovative and energy-efficient continuous chemical reaction processes, assisted with novel microwave, ultrasonic and plasma systems, up to the manufacturing scale (www.mapsyn.eu).
